Professional competences:

After completing the module, the students will understand chemistry, analysis and legal situation of flavor compounds. Methods of food authentication will be discussed in theory and practice. Students will understand how knowledge in food chemistry can be used to create methods for the analysis and authentication of food. Seminary work aims to exemplify the work situation of food chemists and to enter into professional life.
