Degree Program: Environmental Science - Soil, Water, and Biodiversity (Regulations 2014) (Master)

The first semester (basic semester package = BSP) at Hohenheim consists of three compulsory modules (together 24 credits) and one elective module (at least 6 credits). The second semester (advanced semester package 1 =ASP1) consist of three types of modules: compulsory, semi-elective, and elective. Students choose one of the following specialisations and have to combine the modules so that at least 30 credits are achieved. Besides the compulsory module, priority should be given to the semi-elective modules, but students may also choose one elective module with 7.5 credits from the module catalogue of the Faculties of Agricultural and Natural Sciences. The modules of the third semester are offered for incoming students for which Hohenheim is the host university. Students have to combine the modules of their specialisation so that 30 credits are achieved. Priority should be given to the semi-elective modules. Students may choose one elective module (with at least 6 credits) from the module catalogue of the Faculties of Agricultural and Natural Sciences.
