- Prerequisites for Attendance:

Envirofood students should have completed the compulsory modules of the first semster and module 3103-450 (GIS) of the second semester. Participants should be technically able to set up a computer presentation or to design a poster with powerpoint, keynote, foiltex or any other computer program. Special requirements change from year to year, but in most cases participants will benefit from knowledge of statistics (descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, regression analysis, correlation analysis, geostatistics).

- Professional competences:

Students will work out solutions of relatively complex political-scientific problems in groups. They learn how to evaluate environmental data from the real world. During the module they strengthen there rethoric and writing skills. They learn to organize carrying out work in variable groups and to present their results in (single and group) computer and poster presentations.

Active participation is a "must". The number of participants is restricted to 20. Registration via ILIAS.
