The students learn how to perform experiments on the effects of selected air pollutants on biotic targets, the mode of action of selected air pollutants, and how to estimate thresholds. The students work on data sets to characterize air pollution levels and potential exceedances of thresholds. They learn about spatial distribution of air pollutants and understand atmospheric chemistry and formation of secondary pollutants. The students present the results of their evaluations to the audience.
