- have an overview of the chemistry and biochemistry of the most important classes of plant natural products (secondary metabolites), their location in the plant and occurrence in the plant kingdom
- have an overview of the ecological function of plant Natural Products and potential human uses
- have compiled selected topics of chemical ecology and ecological biochemistry from primary and
secondary scientific literature
- be able to present self-compiled knowledge in a seminar talk
- have learnt methods for extraction, enrichments and analysis of Natural Products from plants via
