Professional competences:

This module will introduce students to the basic principles of thermodynamics. The students will apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in the lectures by carrying out laboratories and evaluating the results. In accompanying tutorials the students will learn how to answer practice problems.

On completion of this module the students
- understand the basic principles of thermodynamics
