- The Master’s thesis examination consists of a written part (thesis) and a presentation at the graduate conference. The grade of the presentation is weighted at 10%.

The Master’s thesis demonstrates the ability to work independently on a topic in the field of food systems within a fixed period of time by applying scientific methods. Thesis work includes a literature review, compilation of new and original data derived from either field or laboratory work or a systems analysis and modelling as well as a period of write-up.
