The aim of this module is that the students are able
• to deal with the software package Matlab.
• to apply basic concepts and methods in applied mathematics on issues in the Life Sciences.
• to implement issues in the Life Sciences mathematically and numerically.
• to solve common problems from biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics using Matlab.

• to reason logically and to approach to a scientific question in a structured way.
• to apply programming knowledge (Matlab).
• to work independently.
