Professional competences:

The students have in-depth knowledgeof the structure and content of the synoptical Gospels and selected book groups of the Old or New Testament. They know and understand approaches to the solution of the synoptic question and the characteristic features of different biblical books. They are able to apply the methodology of synoptical comparison and to interpret texts of different genres. They have the skills to ascertain the respective message of biblical texts in a methodologically reflected manner, to describe them in a differentiated way and to explain them in a well-founded manner in communication contexts.
