The studets aquire advanced knowledge regarding the general topic of structural change, inequality and the associated effects on employment. They get to know the recent scientific literature with respect to this field. Furthermore, students learn to independently carry out scientific research on their own (literature search, data search, empirical analysis and formal model building).
