They are able to independently write a structured paper on a predefined topic in the area of economic history which adequately covers the topic and fulfils basic scientific standards. They are able to present the results of their work in front of a group of fellow students and to articulate and defend their point of view. They can develop strategies independently and work on simple economic history issues in a scientific manner. Hereby, they learn the particularities of using historical sources and preparing and critically classifying these sources.
