The students know the parts of the civil and commercial law which are essential for economists. In particular, they have knowledge about the basics of property law and laws on loan securities as well as their mechanisms of compensation.
In commercial law, the focus lies on the definition of a merchant, mercantile trading operations and publication in the register.
The lecture is complemented by an exercise course in which the topics of the lecture are practised using cases. In doing so, structured working methods are learned and practised. - Comments:

The lecture "Constitutional and Administrative Fundamentals" is the public law part of the module "Law II" of the basic studies of business and economics Bachelor's programmes, as well as the constitutional law part of the Bachelor's programme "Communication Science".
