It is the goal of this module that the students master the mathematical tools in Linear Algebra and Calculus that are required for studying ordinary and partial differential equations (ODEs and PDEs). Furthermore, they learn how to write they own basic computer programs in order to solve mathematical problems related to these topics as well as for analyzing data.
- Key competences:
-
It is the goal of this module that the students have sufficient computational routine in the above mentioned tools in order to be able to concentrate on the understanding of solution methods for ODEs and PDEs. Furthermore, they acquire basic skills in pro-gramming and data analysis.
