The students have in-depth knowledge of strategic management decisions of companies providing services. They know and understand the main concepts for deriving external oriented strategies and starting points for their in-house implementation. They are able to identify the characteristics of a service and to consider them in the problem analysis as well as in problem solving. The advanced module conveys competencies in problem recognition and solving with the aid of concrete, case-specific examples of application for typical decision problems in services management.
