Professional competences:

The students have in-depth knowledge of the basics of health economics. They know and understand the characteristics of the market for health services, the determinants for the behaviour of individuals in their role as consumers and producers of health, the institutions of medical care as well as the methods for evaluating medical services. They are able to analyse health economic problems and to critically reflect on and reproduce them in a structured way.
