The students have in-depth knowledge of the problems regarding the traditions of antique biblical texts, divided into literature of the Old Testament and the New Testament. They know and understand the methodological comprehension approaches of the historical critical method and have hermeneutical competency in dealing with biblical texts. They are able to reproduce the problems of the traditions of biblical texts and exegetical comprehension approaches in the module exam. The students have instrumental competencies regarding the analysis and comprehension synthesis of biblical texts. The conveyed competencies build on the basic module "Biblical Theory 1".
