56 h presence + 104 h preparation at home + exam = 160 h workload
- Professional competences:
-
After completing this module, students will have a comprehensive overview and understanding of functional genetics approaches involved in detecting genes and biomarkers with causal and/or regulatory effects. Students are able to design genomic and transcriptomic analyses and interpret results related to gene and biomarker discovery for complex traits in plants.
- Key competences:
-
By preparing presentations and essays on specific topics, students learn to organize themselves, work independently, and improve their written and oral scientific expression. Through teamwork and peer evaluation, students practice and improve communication and cooperation skills. Through guided work on and discussion of original literature, students improve critical and analytical scientific thinking.
