Professional competences:

Students know the theoretical and methodological principles of media effects research. They can put classic and innovative new approaches into a disciplinary context. Important technical terms are known as well as the basics of empirical analysis. In addition, they are able to analyze current developments in the field of economics and politics in the context of media effects research.
