Students understand how information technology (IT) changes the business models, business processes and customer behavior in the healthcare industry, which serves as an example for digital transformation of industries in general. Students acquire knowledge in informatics and economics essential for understanding digital transformation. Students are able to explain a topic to non-experts in the field, namely students with a different study background. Students are able to analyse research articles from different disciplines/fields and to present them in an oral presentation to the members of the course.
