Students have in-depth knowledge of how to use data mining in finance. They have basic methodological knowledge related to e.g., business intelligence, data warehousing, pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial neural networks, and text mining. They are able to explain and apply these methods as well as to evaluate their usefulness for decision support in finance.
