After a brief review of basic mathematical tools and of descriptive statis-tics the contents of the module are introduced:
- Probability theory: random variable, distribution, expectation, stochastic independence, multivariate distributions
- Basic methods of interferential statistics: t-test, analysis of vari-ance, regression
- Introduction to SAS or R
- Multivariate methods: cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, principal component analysis
