Innovations in information technologies (IT innovations) impact increasingly social life and all types of business activities in large urban areas.
The course introduces into these changes refering to important fields like participation, mobility and logistics, retail and culture, healthcare, aging population, and public safety.
The course studies how IT innovations contribute to important urban problems, and how they contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of urban business activities, and which opportunities smart cities offer to establish new types of business. - Literature:
