The hosting chair chooses a current general topic and formulates a number of seminar topics, from which each participant is allocated a seminar paper topic. The general topics change, but they cover the contents of the modules "Internal Management 1: Controlling" and "Internal Management 2". Depending on the selection of topics, there are different requirements for what previous knowledge the participants need. Details on this are to be found in the resepective seminar announcement at the end of the previous semester.

Seminars are offered each semester by the chairs Controlling, Entrepreneurship, Procurement and Logistics as well as Risk Managment and Derivatives in differing combinations. To participate in a seminar, you must apply. Information on seminar topics and the application procedure are announced at the end of the previous semester (for the summer semester from 10 June onwards, for the winter semester from 10 January onwards) on the homepage of the chair of Controlling. The centralised application procedure ensures that all preferences can be considered in the seminar allocation.
