Up-to-date and detailed information about the molecular pathomechanisms of bacterial, viral and fungal infectious diseases in animals and humans.
Students learn the basics of medical microbiology, i.e. sample preparation, transport, laboratory diagnosis. Furthermore, classical and molecular diagnostic assays can be performed in the lab modules.
