In the lectures, students are introduced to the biology of microorganisms with emphasis to Bacteria, Archaea and Protozoa. The module will cover microbial cell structure and function, diversity, physiology and ecology. Moreover, it will give inputs in regards to bacterial communities.
The practical courses will cover basic microbiology with emphasis to culturing, plating, bacterial characterization and PCR technique. - Location:
