The first part of the lecture deals with the behaviour of households in economic decision situations, whereby a focus is on the analysis of demand behaviour. In the second part, the lecture deals with the behaviour of corporations and their decision calculations. Hereby, the factor demand as well as supply are in the centre of the analysis. Finally, the interaction between supply and demand on markets and the functioning of the price mechanism will be discussed.
