Theory of methods for the analysis and comparison of biological sequences, current high-throughput sequencing methods, analysis of –omics data, structure, characteristics and evolution of biological networks, methods for the analysis of networks, practical analysis and comparison of biological sequences and –omics data, computational construction and analysis of biological networks – coexpression networks as example. Students will pick a recent scientific paper of a bioinformatics journal and orally present it.
