In economics, innovation is regarded as the core source of growth and the basis for the competetiveness of corporations, regions and whole economies. In this course, basic innovation-economic concepts are introduced, discussed and applied. The students become familiar with the economic characteristics of innovations and gain insights into the issues of the modern innovation economics.
