Current topics in infectious diseases will be selected from the literature, presented, and discussed. Students will learn how to evaluate literature sources, understand the structure of scientific texts, critically read texts, understand the peer-review process, and practice researching scientific sources. Backgrounds for the chosen texts will be researched and the text put into context. Each student will be expected to present current publications and critically analyze and discuss these with the other students. It will be possible for students to help choose the topics and publications covered.
