- Lehrform:
- Vorlesung
- SWS:

The lectures will provide a revision of (or short introduction to) basic population genetics, ecological/evolutionary genetics, molecular ecology, the molecular biological/technological basis of genomic data generation methods (including next/Nth-generation sequencing; NGS) and their interpretation, strengths and limitations. Furthermore, they will cover aspects of genome-wide data analysis, the genomics of speciation, and conceptual considerations pertaining to the genetic/biochemical basis of adaptations and phenotypic traits. Finally, practical considerations of population-based project design will be discussed.
