The students learn:
- Sterile working techniques
- Factorial growth kinetics
- Determination of food ingredients (e.g. ethanol, glucose, fructose, sucrose, nitrate, citrate) by enzymatic methods
- Determination of enzyme activities in food
- To protocol experiments
- Using statistical methods for analysing experimental data
