The students acquire knowledge in the use of Word (style sheets and others) and Excel (several functions, Solver) and know and understand the ARIS house with the modelling methods ER-model, table schemas, organigrams, function tree and eEPC. The concept of separating implementation and design is discussed. With the database language SQL, students learn a formal language. Besides the basics of internet communication and the devices necessary for this, they can also apply basic knowledge of xHTML and CSS as well as the quality aspects of web applications and business models in e-commerce.
