Students possess an in-depth understanding of international financial reporting. Their know-how includes all necessary abilities as a preparer and reader of international financial statements. They are also able to asses critical issues of IFRS and HGB accounting rules particulary at insurance companies, financial instruments, special balance sheets and special issues in international accounting. Furthermore they are able to apply the accounting rules to concrete topics. They are in a good position to solve business cases according to IFRS and HGB accounting rules.
