The basic module Insurance Management should have been completed successfully. Participation in the introductory session is compulsory.

- Term paper (about 12 pages), 15 minutes presentation and 60 minutes written exam

The students are able to expand on their acquired knowledge from the lecture covering risk theory and insurance management largely independently with the aid of relevant scientific literature. They are able to independently write a structured paper about a predefined topic in the area of insurance management which adequately deals with the topic and fulfils basic scientfic standards. They can present the results of their paper to a group of their fellow students and articulate and defend their positions during the discussion. They techniques of scientific work while writing scientific texts. In addition, communicative competencies as well as didactic skills are trained while presenting and discussing the worked out contents.
