180 hours: 20 hours class attendance 160 hours independent study (preparation of the term paper and the presentation, etc.)

Professional competences:

The students are able to extend their knowledge in applied econometrics largely independently. They are able to independently write a structured paper on a predefined topic in the area of econometrics which adequately covers the topic and fulfils basic scientific standards. They are able to present the results of their work in front of a group of fellow students and to articulate and defend their point of view in a discussion.

Comments:

It is recommended to have visited the module introduction of econometrics at least.
