Professional competences:

The students are able to expand the knowledge they acquired in the basic and, if applicable, in the advanced module largely independently. They are able to independently write a structured paper on a predefined topic in the area of management and economics of social services which adequately covers the topic and fulfils basic scientific standards. They are able to present the results of their work in front of a group of fellow students and to articulate and defend their point of view. Hereby, skills in the area of systematic analysis, objective scientifc argumentation, self-responsibility, and the extension of knowledge in complex situations are promoted. The seminar module provides the possibility for students to extend their basic methodological and structural knowledge with current research questions and new scientific insights.
