Students have advanced knowledge in the main topic controlling, financial accounting and tax. They understand the fundamentals of material covered in respective previous lectures. They are able to process special issues independently and to write a term paper considering the principles of scientific work. Students shall be capable of transferring learned knowledge and applying that knowledge to different areas. Students may work on the term paper partially in teams. This work will develop effective teamwork and collaborative problem-solving skills. Students will present on a specialized topic to their lecture section. A discussion among the students as well as with the lecturers and the supervising staff will follow each seminar presentation.
