Students are taught the theoretical background of molecular medicine, including pharmacology, pharmacogenetics and drug metabolism, the biological action of anti-tumor drugs and how clinical trials work. Cells culture experiments to test drugs action, HPLC to investigate drug metabolism and molecular biology techniques are taught in the lab.
