Upon completion of the Master’s thesis students are able to conduct independent research in the field of bioeconomy according to given instructions on an assigned topic and record their findings. Depending on the topic, research may include laboratory work, field experiments or case studies. Students have extensive knowledge and expertise in the topic of their Master’s thesis. They are able to employ scientific methods in the field of bioeconomy and adjoining.

Upon completion of the Master’s thesis students are able to conduct independent scientific work. They have demonstrated their capacity for critical and analytical thinking. In addition, they know how to write a scientific research paper and, if applicable, can present their research orally.
