Students possess an in-depth understanding of selected concepts of decision theory and insurance economics. Their know-how includes basic knowledge of the optimal design of insurance contracts under symmetric and asymmetric information between consumers and insurance companies. In addition, they have a deeper understanding of the impact of insurance coverage on related markets for repair goods. They are in a good position to identify and solve different contractual problems in insurance relationships in different market environments.
