Professional competences:

Students possess an in-depth understanding of the potential and the challenges of the German health care system . Their know-how includes the ability to assess, for example, the potential of IS/IT in the health care sector and the challenges with respect to successful implementation. Moreover, students are able to analyze questions of liability in the context of health care from a legal point of view. They are in a good position to assess innovations such as electronic patient records or electronic prescriptions from a medical, technical or legal point of view depending on the focus selected .
