The students have in-depth knowledge in the structures and functioning of the health care and social sectors. They know and understand basic area-specific planning and steering instruments and can apply these. They are able to recognise problems and challenges in the area of the health care and social management and to develop systematic approaches to solutions. They gain methodological competency regarding management requirements in the area of planning and steering social and health care sector institutions. Analytical competencies are expanded in the lecture and exercise session regarding the methodological competency. Building on the in-depth basic knowledge, the students acquire analysis and synthesis skills and extend their knowledge in objective and targeted communication.
