Students possess an in-depth understanding of how to conduct an empirical study in the field of health economics. Their know-how includes the ability to analyze a micro data set and apply appropriate econometric methods in order to find answers to current issues. In order to do so, students will conduct their own empirical paper and present their results to the course. They are in a good position to individually conduct empirical research starting from the data to the final draft. This means: Literature research, cleaning the data set. learning methods and writing a good introduction and conclusion for a paper.
