They can explain how plants response to abiotic stresses, such as drought, temperature and salinity and to modifiers such as humidity, solar radiation or CO2 concentration. They can discuss interactions and effects of global climate change on crop physiological aspects using case studies. Students can practically measure physiological relations in laboratory and greenhouse exercises.
