The students have in-depth knowledge of data management. They know how to model ER-models and how to transform ER-models to relational databases. On the implementation level, the students will gain in-depth knowledge of SQL. Furthermore, the optimisation of a database schema via normalisation will be considered. Another focus is the represenation and processing of semi-structured data.
