- The module has been completed successfully when all 6 credits have been earned. Consequently, it can be taken instead of a free elective module.
- Workload:

180 hours: The division into class attendence and independent study is dependent on the respective courses.
- Professional competences:

The students acquire basic knowledge of the respective contents of the courses. The module conveys different competences depending on the attended courses. In general, the students have in-depth knowledge of independent and scientific work, self-organisation as well as language skills.
- Comments:

In this module only graded courses can be taken. These include
- Research projects " Humboldt reloaded" of the University of Hohenheim
- language courses provided by the language center of the University of Hohenheim
- exams taken abroad that fit to the studies of the business and economics degree programmes
For recognition, the students have to complete 6 credit points at graded courses.
The dean of studies is empowered to recognize further achievements in individual cases or on request.
