The students have advanced knowledge of bank management and banking business. They know and understand relevant financial market products, financial market mechanisms, selected concepts of bank calculation and bank management as well as characteristics of various banking systems. They are able to evaluate current financial market products and analyse the risks and performance of banks. They understand why banks play an important role in the economy as financial intermediaries, but are also aware of the systemic risks that originate from banks. In the lecture and exercise, analytical and problem-solving skills are promoted. Evaluation methods and theoretical models are applied in a result-oriented and reflected manner.
