Professional competences:

The students have in-depth knowledge in the business language of an additional cultural environment (usually electable: Spanish or French-speaking countries). They are able to build on their subject specific knowledge from previous modules and to concentrate on the linguistic and cultural characteristics of this additional language area. They know and understand linguistic nuances in the internal environment of a corporation (e.g. from the different departments such as marketing and finance) and are able to express themselves in a complex and appropriate way about corporate issues in the additional language (European C1 level). They are able to work on case studies of corporations in written form and to comment on prepared questions in a report (in oral or written form). Hereby, the linguistic requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (level C1) have to be fulfilled. A special focus of the advanced module 2 lies on the intensive application of intercultural knowledge.
