Professional competences:

In this module students understand the theoretical background of methods frequently used in biology and recognize the application range of these methods. In the practical course the students become experienced with basic biological methods, gain practice in performing, documenting and presenting scientific experiments and get to know equipment used in biological experiments.

Ziel des Moduls ist, dass die Studierenden nach dessen Abschluss in der Lage sind,
- einfache wissenschaftliche Experimente durchzuführen
- geeignete biologische Methoden für gegebene Fragestellungen auszuwählen
