- Preparation of Drosophila embryonic cuticles, analysis of neurogenic phenotypes (phase contrast light microscopy)
- Enhancer analysis with lacZ-reporter lines in Drosophila embryos (light microscopy)
- In vivo demonstration of gene activity: tissue specific overexpression of GFP in Drosophila imaginal discs; preparation of the tissue and fluorescence microscopy
